Welcome to the HRINZ Knowledge Base.
As Human Resource Management (HRM) is widely debated and discussed around the world and is an every changing paradigm. There are numerous and various textbooks on organisational development, organisational behaviour, culture and change management available in the market place.
These books all talk more about the importance of various levels and functions of HRM. The modern day classification of HRM is based on the organisational development principles, however, HRM is currently moving towards demonstrating its strategic capability and prowess within the organisation, proving how HR can add value to an organisation by highlighting the benefits HR can have on the organisations finanical bottom line. The power and politics, structure and culture influence the functions of HRM and can limit HR's ability to become a more strategic business partner.
The Knowledge Base is basically a ‘one stop shop’ for all your HR related enquiries with a wealth of information, articles, definitions, updates regarding legislative changes, links to relative agencies and other services that HRINZ offers such as Professional Development courses and HR guides etc. Therefore, the Knowledge Base is to provide HRINZ members and HR professionals with uptodate practical advice, guidelines and tools that can be used when dealing with day-to-day issues of Human Resource Management.
The revamped Knowledge Base has been aligned to the new HRINZ competencies and uses these competencies as its structure, so it’s now really easy to gather all the right information in the right format.
